“ Rated: 5 stars for flavor, 12 stars for emotional damage. Amazing food!!! The food? Sure, it was good. But that’s not why you go to Fly In Cafe. You go because you want to witness the kind of human drama that makes reality TV look like a documentary on beige paint. At the booth next to mine, a woman was whisper-screaming into her mimosa: “He proposed with a ring he already gave to his first wife, Cheryl. And Cheryl’s a Gemini!” She then toasted to “new beginnings” and Venmo-requested her therapist before the check even came. Two tables over, a man in a velvet tracksuit stood up mid-omelet and shouted, “Fine, Marlene! Take the house, take the dog, take my mother’s ashes! But you’ll never take my Sunday brunch!” The cafe applauded. He curtsied. She flipped him off with a spoon. Meanwhile, someone was weeping softly near the window. Not because they were sad—but because their boyfriend had just texted, “I’m outside,” and it turned out he meant emotionally. Also, I’m 98% sure a woman named “Kiki” faked labor pains to get out of paying for her avocado toast. Respect. So yeah, the toast was crunchy. But the trauma? Delicious. ”
“ Cute little restaurant/bar with a cool vibe. The food was so good ( Try the Sea Bass). We loved it. Our waiter was top-notch. The other waiter stopped by our table as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. Line dancing was going on in an adjacent room. There is an outdoor patio that is pretty sweet too. ”
